2013 Events

2013 had it's share of ups and downs. Most years do, right? I thought I'd do a year in review, good and bad. In chronological order...

We started the year living at my parent's house while our condo was remodeled. We enjoyed many nights of Train! Thanks, Mom & Dad!

The snow was excellent this year, and we took advantage! Mark and I had many chances to get out and skate-ski.

Mountain Dell

My niece, Emma, officially became a teenager (she's been acting like one for years!). She's pretty much awesome.

Feared for my life a couple of times traveling to Park City in this...It was actually pretty sweet!

Learned how to play, and now fully embrace, the game of backgammon:

Finished up the remodel and got to move back home (will do a 'before and after' post sometime):

Worked a lot:

Started a cross stitch project (hoping to complete by Christmas 2014):

Celebrated Elliott's 8th!

Watched Orb win the Kentucky Derby while savoring "Kentucky Hot Browns" and mint-julep cupcakes:

In conjunction with Shawn and Larissa, we "won" the Wheelbarrow of Fun at the Boys and Girls Club Gala. It was full of alcohol, aka "fun"!

The Fab Four rode in the Little Red Riding Hood Bike ride:

Celebrated my birthday with sushi and sparkling sake!

The Skeleton Crew rode the Tour de Cure...

Went boating...

and to Bees games...

Made jam...

Hiked...

Won a Wagon of Fun...like the Wheelbarrow of Fun, just a bit smaller...

Welcomed a new nephew...

Ethan turned twelve...seriously?

Celebrated our 10th anniversary with a Mediterranean cruise...

Ran the Zombie 5K...

Made progress on the cross-stitch...

Saw a really cute (and sleepy) dragon...

Said goodbye to Mark's mom, Lila...

and my Aunt Rosemary...

2007

Saw the incredibly talented Michael Bublé...

Celebrated the holidays...

And got to ski some more!

Whew! I wonder what 2014 has in store for us?

Cheers!
